It is not surprising to a minority of people in American that President Obama honors Ramadan.  President Obama is a Sunni Muslim and thus is being true to his colors. What is wrong is that he thinks he speaks for the majority of American people, and he most definitely does not.  The following article is an excellent one on speaking the Truth:

Obama and Ramadan

We hear today from our President (God I hate calling him that), a statement of recognition of Ramadan. An Islamic holiday/religious observance.

In his statement he says this:

”Even as Ramadan holds profound meaning for the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims, it is also a reminder to people of all faiths of our common humanity and the commitment to justice, equality, and compassion shared by all great faiths.”

Really Mr. Obama? An Islamic holiday reminds everyone of justice equality and compassion? Just so I understand you correctly sir….you’re saying that the same religion that chops off peoples heads, beats, stones, and oppresses women, hangs homosexuals, and promotes hatred…..somehow reminds us of equality and compassion?

I’m not sure about anyone else but I don’t believe a religion that says that a muslim woman is only worth half a muslim man represents equality.

Qur’an (4:11) – (Inheritance) “The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females”
Bukhari (6:301)“[Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’  They replied in the affirmative.  He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.’

A religion that says to kill all non muslims doesn’t sound like a religion that promotes compassion.

Quran (2:191-193)“And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful.   And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.”

How is it that a religious observance of the most hateful religion in the world would remind anyone of those things?

Furthermore, I don’t think that the United States should be recognizing any religious holiday of Islam, given what all we truth loving people know Islam to be. I don’t think it’s appropriate to suggest anyone recognize an observance that’s purpose is to make Muslims be more extreme.

What do I mean by that? Well according to Wikipedia Ramadan is a time when Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam.

Well if they do that then gays better hide, we all better convert, we all better strap on bombs and get ready to kill people who don’t agree with us!

Get real BARACK!! And PLEASE stop saying “on behalf of the American people” when you slobber all over  Islam. You DO NOT speak for me!!

  1. Interesting piece! I do not understand where you get these facts that Obama is a Muslim. There is no proof that he is one and yet the polarization of politics has caused people to continue to question his relligion.

Will you be voting for Romney? I assume so. However, what do you know about the Mormon religion? The religion states that Father God and Mother God had sex and gave birth to Jesus who worked very hard to become a god- per the book of Mormon. Jesus’ death on the cross was not propiation for our sins, seeing that he was a man and not god. There are many gods on the different planets, and upon death, the mormons with good works will get a planet closest to the gods with their families. Christianity according to Mormon letters is a flawed religion.

So, even though I am a Conservative leaning Independent, I find the continued attacks on Obama, who has said repeatedly that he is Christian, to be absurd.

And by the way, as an aside, not all Muslims are bad people. Many Christians are horrible folks too. And to say that a Muslim is automatically a bad person is a little odd.

Have you asked yourself why you are so hesitant to believe the President’s religion and yet, probably accepted that Romney was truly Mormon? Most people do not know what Mormonism is, yet, they claim it is Christianity and refuse to consider how it might impact a Romney Presidency.

Elections should be about choice and not hate. It certainly should not be about demonizing a candidate and extoling another,. Most of us wanted Gingrich as our nominee because we felt, and rightly so, that Romney was the most liberal and malleable of all the candidates, in the primary. There is now a flawed and unsupportable connection that has been created based on Romney’s wealth and ability to lead us out of the economic quandry we are in. However, there is no evidence that his wealth and ability to make money for his investors will translate into good governance.

I am a Conservative but feel troubled when I read blogs like this. It oozes of unbrideled hate and distrust. That is really not the American way.

Thank you for allowing me share my thoughts.

  2. Thanks for your response. I am familiar with the pieces you have referenced and they have repeatedly been disproved! Evidence of refutal is all over the Internet. Just Google it. If you are a believer in Glenn Beck and his unending conspiracy theories, then I think you and I cannot find common ground on this issue. Glenn Beck is also Mormon.

As for Romney being the lesser of two evils, I do not know how you came to that conclusion because Mormonism is predicated on the fact that Christianity is incomplete and flawed. The book of Mormon is the Bible.

The President is not a Muslim. The fear and paranoia that has pervaded many quarters is inexplicable and unsupportable, and is it the reason America is so polarized. As Christians we are meant to love with the love of God and allow Jesus lead us in our dealings. I cannot believe the God we serve will reveal to you that Mormonism is a better option than a President who proclaims and acts Christian.

Why would Obama lie about his religion? What has he done to make his religious beliefs affect the well-being of Americans. Why should people fan this hatred of a man who is the leader of this country.

When I read some of the material, like the one you have shared, I am almost ashamed to call myself a Spirit filled believer. We are in the business of love and not hate. And no, I will not support a Mormon who says that Christ is a mere mortal as opposed to a man who acknowledges Jesus as savior no matter what the conspiracy theorists share online and elsewhere. I am not a one issue voter and will not be voting solely based on religion. However, over all, Romney is one of the worst choices the Republican party has ever provided to us. I have shared some of my views in my post on the link pasted below.

Thanks for allowing me share my thoughts. I appreciate your forthrightness in sharing your opinions even though they are diametrically opposed to mine. The

  3. The excerpts from the Quran you have used are out of context. The one about slaying non believers only refers to those non believers that prevent and persecute Muslims from practicing their religion.
    Islam translates literally into “Peace”.
Maybe of you learned a thing or two about the religion (from a legitimate institution) and did not spew random hate, then the world we live in would be slightly better.
    I believe Matthew 7:1-5 states:
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
Try being a better person and maybe the world will follow suit.
Instead of spreading hate try to spread love for all humanity.
If there are 10 bad Muslims out of 400 is it worth killing the innocent 390?
And I would tell a Muslim if there 10 bad non Muslims out of 400 is it worth killing the innocent 390?
Some non muslims will answer yes it is worth killing the 390 innocent Muslims.
Some Muslims will answer yes it is worth killing the 390 innocent non Muslims.
However some humane, just and righteous non muslims will reply “no it is not worth killing the innocent”.
And some humane, just and righteous Muslims will also reply “no it is not worth killing the innocent”
If we are all born of Adam and Eve, as all Christians, Jews, and Muslims believe, then are we not all brother and sisters?
If some of our brothers and sisters and behaving in an extreme fashion full of hate, does that mean that we all should? Will God not appreciate more the ones who instead of killing will hate, ashame the others with their kindness?
I hope that God replaces this hate in your heart and soul that runs through your veins like a venom slowly killing you, with love for all his creatures. Love that will fill your heart with calm and peace.

    • So you are saying Obama lied to a high Egyptian Official that he was a Muslim? Are you Anti-Jewish because Obama is a huge Anti-Semite? Obama is a child of Satan and not a child of God. Have you no discernment to distinguish between good and evil?

    • Islam is the largest Anti-Christ religion in the world. Unless you have sold out to Jesus, you are a child of Satan and therefore not a Child of God.
I have read and studied the Quran for a significant number of years, and it even spews out more hate in Arabic than in English. The Quran clearly teaches to kill Christians and Jews. The Muslims that you say are nice are Muslim only in name and not in practice. Devout Muslims will hate Christians and Jews. The One True God will destroy Islam in the end.

    • I love Muslims , but I hate what they believe in because it will lead them straight to Hell. You have a problem with Truth and false accusation. Jesus teaches to love your enemies. People who hate do not pray for Muslims every day, as I do. The venom you accused me of is what was in your response. 2nd Thessalonians 2:7-8 When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. i do not want to see anyone face the Wrath of God and that is why I write the blogs that I do.
