HOW HOLY IS THE EUCHARIST?

As a former Catholic I am totally in awe of how the One True God opened my blind eyes and deaf ears and revealed to me the Truth about Catholicism .  I recently attend the funeral of my favorite uncle and was so saddened by what I seen and heard.  As a Catholic I was taught over and over that because I was baptisied as a baby, that it was then that I entered the Kingdom.  I firmly believed that because I was a Catholic I would go to heaven, but now I I know that I would have went to hell.  I prayed thae rosary faithfully, and had no clue that it had no Biblical basis.  I believe that Catholics are so close and yet so far from the Truth.  Many Catholic’s are good people,  but the Bible teaches that there are none that do good, that all have gone astray.  The following article by Keith Green will revela how holy the Eucharist is:

Part 1. The Holy Eucharist – Eating the Flesh of Deity.
One might wonder why, in a scriptural look at the doctrines of the Catholic Church, I would choose this subject – The Roman Interpretation of the Lord’s Supper (more commonly known as “Communion”) for the first of the “Catholic Chronicles.” Most Protestants (1) would expect me to deal with what they might consider the more obvious departures from biblical foundation – such as the worship of and prayers to the Virgin Mary, the infallibility of the pope, purgatory and prayers for the dead, or the history of the torture and burning of accused “heretics” and such like that.
But for this first article I believe that we should get right to the root, before we begin exploring the branches of Roman doctrine and practice. And any Catholic who has even a small knowledge of his church knows that the central focus of each gathering (known as the “Mass”) is the Holy Eucharist.

The Eucharist
The word “Eucharist” is a Greek word that means “thanksgiving.” In the gospel accounts of the Last Supper, Jesus is described as “giving thanks” before breaking the bread (Luke 22:19), and so this word became a proper name for the Lord’s Supper in the early Catholic Church. Today, it is more commonly associated with the elements in communion, especially the host or “wafer,” although the ceremony itself is still called “The Holy Eucharist.”
Now, you might be wondering why I’m taking so much time and effort to explain something as harmless as the ceremony known around the world as communion. If you’ve probably taken part in a communion service. So why make all this fuss about bread and wine? Why? Because that’s where the similarity between evangelical communion services and the Roman Catholic Mass ends – at the bread and the wine!

Transubstantiation
That 18-letter word above is a complete theological statement . . . and the name of a doctrine, out of which springs the most astounding set of beliefs and practices that has ever been taught in the name of religion. Very, very few people know what the Catholic Church actually believes and teaches concerning this subject, and I am convinced that even fewer Catholics realize themselves what they are taking part in. From earliest childhood, “This is the body of Christ” is all they’ve ever heard when the priest gingerly placed the wafer on their tongue. And as they grew up, it was such a natural and normal part of religious life, that their minds never even questioned the fact that Jesus Christ, Himself, was actually in their mouth!
It might be hard for you to believe, but that’s exactly, literally, what “transubstantiation” means. The Roman Catholic Church teaches their flocks that the bread and the wine used in the Mass actually, physically, turn into the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ after the priest blesses them during the liturgy (ceremony). Although this in itself might shock you, it is really only the beginning. For the implications and practical conclusions of this doctrine are absolutely mind-boggling.

Exclusive Authority
For example, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that since their priests are the only ones who have the authority from God (2) to pronounce the blessing which changes the elements of communion into the actual body and blood of Jesus, that they are the only church where Jesus “physically resides” even now! Let me quote a letter written to one of the girls in our ministry from a devoted Catholic:
“To explain the Catholic Church would take volumes, but basically the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ when He was here on earth. It is the ONLY church founded by Jesus. The greatest asset of our church is that we have Jesus present in the Holy Eucharist – He is really here, body, soul and divinity. He is God and in His omnipotence can do anything He wishes, and He decided to remain with us until the end of the world in the form of the host in Holy Communion.”
If you think this is just the isolated opinion of someone on the fringe of the church, or that the Catholic Church as a whole does not really believe or teach this, I beg you to read on. For not only is this the official teaching of Rome, but according to irreversible church decree (called dogma), anyone who does not hold to this belief, in the most explicit detail, is accursed and damned forever!

The Council of Trent
When Europe was electrified by the eloquent preaching of the sixteenth century reformation, the Roman Catholic hierarchy gathered together her theologians who worked for three decades on the preparation of a statement of faith concerning the doctrine of transubstantiation. This document remains, to this day, the standard of Catholic doctrine.
As the Second Vatican Council commenced in 1963, Pope John XXIII declared, “I do accept entirely all that has been decided and declared at the Council of Trent.” What did the Council of Trent decide and declare? Some of the first sections are as follows:
CANON I – “If anyone shall deny that the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore entire Christ, are truly, really, and substantially contained in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist; and shall say that He is only in it as a sign, or in a figure – let him be accursed!”
CANON II – “If anyone shall say that the substance of the bread and wine remains in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist, together with the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ – let him be accursed!”
CANON VI – “If anyone shall say that Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is not to be adored in the holy sacrament of the Eucharist, even with the open worship of Latria, and therefore not to be venerated with any peculiar festal celebrity, not to be solemnly carried about in processions according to the praiseworthy and universal rites and customs of the Holy Church, and that He is not to be publicly set before the people to be adored, and that His adorers are idolators, – let him be accursed!”

The Worship Of The Host
“Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image (4)…Thou shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them” The Second Commandment (Ex.20:4-5)
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23)
In Canon VI, a rite of worship called “Latria” was spoken of. This is not just an “ancient custom,” it is thoroughly practiced today in many Masses. After the bread has been supposedly “changed” into the Christ by the priest, it is placed in a holder called a monstrance. And before this monstrance the Catholic must bow and worship (this act is called genuflecting) the little wafer as God! Sometimes they have processions where they solemnly march, as the congregation bows and offers praise and worship – to this piece of bread!
The Roman teaching that Jesus Christ is physically present in each morsel of bread creates many other doctrinal and practical problems. For instance, when the service is over, what happens to all those leftover wafers that have been “changed into Christ?” Do they change back into bread again when the priest goes home? I’m afraid not. For according to Canon IV of the Council of Trent, they stay flesh! And don’t think that 400 year-old decree is just some dusty old manuscript in a museum case somewhere – it still is completely adhered to and passionately practiced. As an example, here is a passage from an official Catholic home instruction book, copyrighted 1978:
“Jesus Christ does not cease to exist under the appearances of bread and wine after the Mass is over. Furthermore, some hosts are usually kept in all Catholic churches. In these hosts, Jesus is physically and truly present, as long as the appearances of bread remain. Catholics therefore have the praiseworthy practice of `making visits’ to our Lord present in their churches to offer Him their thanks, their adoration, to ask for help and forgiveness: in a word, to make Him the center around which they live their daily lives.”
That is an incredible interpretation of how to make Jesus the center of your daily life!

When Did This Teaching Begin?
The teaching of transubstantiation does not date back to the Last Supper as most Catholics suppose. It was a controversial topic for many centuries before officially becoming an article of faith (which means that it is essential to salvation according to Rome). The idea of a physical presence was vaguely held by some, such as Ambrose, but it was not until 831 A.D. that Paschasius Radbertus, a Benedictine Monk, published a treatise openly advocating the doctrine. Even then, for almost another four centuries, theological was was waged over this teaching by bishops and people alike, until at the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215 A.D., it was officially defined and canonized as a dogma (a teaching or doctrine that can never be reversed or repealed. It is equal in authority to the Bible.) by Pope Innocent III.
Church historians tell us that when this doctrine first began to be taught, the priests took great care that no crumb should fall – lest the body of Jesus be hurt, or even eaten by a mouse or a dog! There were quite serious discussions as to what should be done if a person were to vomit after receiving the sacrament. At the Council of Constance, it was argued that if a communicant spilled some of the blood on his beard, both beard and the man should be destroyed by burning!

How Rome Views the Bible
Before we proceed to look at what the Bible has to say on this subject, it is important to understand the official Catholic view of the Scriptures. According to unquestionable decree, they hold that “Church tradition has equal authority with the Bible.” This is not just a theological view, but it was made an article of faith by the same Council of Trent in 1546! And again, this view is completely held by the Church today:
“The teachings of the Church will always be in keeping with the teachings of the Scripture…and it is through the teaching of the Church that we understand more fully truths of sacred Scripture. To the Catholic Church belongs the final word in the understanding and meaning of the Holy Spirit in the words of the Bible.”
And explaining the premise used in interpreting the Bible:” “…usually, the meaning of the Scriptures is sought out by those who are specially trained for this purpose. And in their conclusions, they know that no explanation of the Scriptures which contradicts the truths constantly taught by the infallible Church can be true.” (10)
Anyone can see how such a mode of interpretation can be dangerously used to manipulate Scripture to mean absolutely anything at all! Who has not observed this of the various cults? The Moonies, Mormons, and Jehovah’s Witnesses all back up their false teachings with “new revelations” and “inspired interpretations” of the Scriptures – each claiming that the Holy Spirit revealed these new truths to their founders. One opens themselves to all kinds of deception when they judge the Bible by what their church or pastor teaches, instead of judging what their church or pastor teaches by the Bible!

Catholic Proof-Texts Explained
With this in mind, we will briefly discuss the two main passages of Scripture that the Roman Church uses while trying to show that Jesus Himself taught transubstantiation.
John 6:54-55: “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.”
Catholics are taught here, that Jesus is explaining how He is literally offering them His flesh and blood, so that they may have eternal life by physically eating Him. With just a little study of the whole passage (verses 27-71), it is clear that Jesus was not talking about physical, but spiritual food and drink.
Food is eaten to satisfy hunger. And in verse 35 Jesus says, “He who cometh to Me shall never hunger.” Now, Jesus is not promising eternal relief from physical hunger pains. He is, of course, speaking of the spiritual hunger in man for righteousness and salvation, And He promises to those who will “come to Him” that He will satisfy their hunger for these things forever – therefore, to come to Him is to “eat”! (See also Matt. 5:6, 11:28; Jn. 4:31-34.)
We drink also to satisfy thirst, and again in verse 35 Jesus tells us, “He that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” Therefore, to believe on Him is to “drink”! (See also John 4:13-14.) No one can say that Jesus was here establishing the eating and drinking of His literal flesh and blood to give eternal life, for in verse 63 He says, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Thus Jesus makes clear what we should be eating and drinking to have eternal life! Matt. 26:26 and 28: “This is My body…this is My blood.” (See also Matt. 4:4.)
Catholics base their whole religious system on their interpretation of these tow verses. They adamantly teach that right here, Jesus is pronouncing the first priestly blessing that mysteriously changes the bread and wine into His body and blood. The absolute folly of such a conclusion is proved by this one observation: He was literally still there before, during, and after they had partaken of the bread and the cup! He was not changed into some liquid and bread – His flesh was still on His bones, and His blood still in His veins. He had not vanished away to reappear in the form of a piece of bread or a cup of wine!
Let’s look closer at His words. No one can deny that here we have figurative language. Jesus did not say TOUTO GIGNETAI (“this has become” or “is turned into”), but TOUTO ESTI (“this is,” i.e., “signifies,” “represents” or “stands for”). (11) It is obvious that Jesus’ meaning was not literal but symbolic! And He wasn’t the first in the Bible to claim figuratively that a glass of liquid was really “blood.”
One time, David’s friends heard him express a strong desire for water from the well of Bethlehem. In spite of extreme danger, these men broke through the enemy lines of the Philistines and brought the water to him. When David found out that these men had risked their lives in this way, he refused to drink the water, exclaiming, “Is not this the blood of the men who went in jeopardy of their lives?” (2 Sam. 23:17)
Throughout the gospels we find similar metaphorical language: Jesus referring to Himself as “the Door,” “the Vine,” “the Light,” “the Root,” “the Rock,” “the Bright and Morning Star,” as well as “the Bread.” The passage is written with such common language that it is plain to any observant reader that the Lord’s Supper was intended primarily as a memorial and in no sense a literal sacrifice. “Do this in remembrance of Me.” (Luke 22:19)

True Pagan Origins
Where did this teaching and practice really come from? Like many of the beliefs and rites of Romanism, transubstantiation was first practiced by pagan religions. The noted historian Durant said that belief in transubstantiation as practiced by the priests of the Roman Catholic system is “one of the oldest ceremonies of primitive religion.” (12) The syncretism and mysticism of the Middle East were great factors in influencing the West, particularly Italy. (13) In Egypt, priests would consecrate mest cakes which were supposed to become the flesh of Osiris. (14) The idea of transubstantiation was also characteristic of the religion of Mithra whose sacraments of cakes and haoma drink closely parallel Catholic Eucharist rites. (15)
The idea of eating the flesh of deity was most popular among the people of Mexico and Central America long before they ever heard of Christ; and when Spanish missionaries first landed in those countries, “their surprise was heightened, when they witnessed a religious rite which reminded them of communion…an image made of flour…and after consecration by priests, was distributed among the people who ate it…declaring it was the flesh of deity…” (16)

So Why Do They Teach It?
Before concluding our first chronicle, the question needs to be asked, “Why does the Roman Catholic Church need to have such a doctrine – why do they think that Jesus wants them to physically eat Him?” That is what truly puzzled me as I read astounded through the catechism and doctrinal instruction books. But the answer to that question is a sad one. As I said before, the implications and practical conclusions of the teaching of transubstantiation are substantially worse than the doctrine itself – and like a great web spun by an industrious spider, Rome’s teachings spiral out from this central hub like the spokes of a wheel.
In Catholic Chronicle II we will look intently at the next direct result of transubstantiation in official Catholic systematic theology: “The Sacrifice of the Mass.”

    • WHAT WILL JESUS HAVE TO DO TO WAKE YOU UP? I WAS FIRMLY CONVINCED WHEN I WAS CATHOLIC THAT I WAS RIGHT BUT FOUND OUT THAT I WAS DEADLY WRONG! THE CATHOLIC CHURCH REJECTED THE JEWISH ROOTS OF THE FATIH AND THAT IS WHERE SATAN BIRTHED THE LIE YOU BELIEVE IN YOU MAY BE A VERY GOOD PERSON BUT THE BIBLE CLEARLY TEACHES THAT THEY ARE NONE WHO DO GOOD AND THAT ALL OF US HAVE GONE ASTRAY THE BIBLE SAYS THAT OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE AND YOU WILL DISCOVER HOW NARROW THE PATH IS THAT LEADS TO LIFE AND THAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS ON THE WRONG PATH

      he Two Gates

      Matthew 7:13,14

One of the most startling teachings of Jesus is his teaching about the two gates. It is startling because few have really understood its true meaning. People that attend any kind of church usually believe that the wide gate is reserved for the godless and those who are not interested in serving God. Let’s look at what Jesus taught in Matthew 7:13-14 about these two gates.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

      The Strait Gate

Look at the strait gate and narrow way. What do we know about this gate?

First, Jesus says that it is the gate that leads to life. This obviously means that it is the gate that leads men to heaven.

Second, Jesus says that it is a “strait” gate. The word “strait” means difficult. Jesus tells us that entering heaven will not be easy. This is a surprise to most people, because they have been taught that the way to heaven is easy. They’ve been taught, ” All you have to do to be saved is believe in Jesus.” There is a great
difference between what men teach today and what Jesus taught then.

Third, Jesus tells us that there are not many people going in through this strait gate and narrow way. He says, “Few there be that find it.” This too, is a surprise to
many folks, because they believe that most people will be saved because most people believe in God.

Jesus has told us three things about the strait gate.

      1. It is the gate that leads to heaven.

      2. It is difficult to enter.

      3. There will not be many people who go in the strait gate.

So far, we have no trouble understanding what Jesus has said. While it may not agree with what most have been taught and believe, it is clear and easy to understand.

Let us imagine, for a moment, that there is a sign over the strait gate. What would it say? Obviously, it would say, “To Heaven.” It would mean that because those
entering in know the truth and have heaven as their destination. Remember though, Jesus says that there are only a few that will find it and go in? Why is that? Do you have an answer for that question? Who are those who find and enter the narrow way? Give some serious thought to that question while we consider what Jesus
taught us about the wide gate.

      The Wide Gate

Consider the wide gate now. Jesus tells us some things about it, also.

First, it is a “wide” gate. It is a gate that is easily seen. Perhaps it is attractive. It surely draws people to it.

Second, Jesus tells us this gate is the entrance to a broad way. Some translations say it is the “easy way.”

In other words, it is not hard to enter this gate nor walk the road it covers.

Third, Jesus tells us that it is a gate that leads to destruction or Hell. Those who go in that gate are bound for destruction.

Fourth, Jesus told us there are going to be “many” who go in this gate. Remember, there are going to be only a few who go in the narrow gate to Heaven, but many will go in the gate to Hell. Many! Why is that? Do they want to go to eternal punishment? Is that what people desire? This is a question that also bears serious consideration.

Let us again summarize the points that Jesus has made about the wide gate and the broad way.

      1. It is a wide gate.

      2. It is easy way to go.

      3. It is the gate that leads to Hell.

      4. There will be many people who go in the wide gate.

Most people consider this the be the way of the world, the way of those who do not try to serve Jesus. Generally, it is taught that sinners and those who do not love God and the “un-churched” are the ones going in this gate. We are told they are living an “easy” life, hence we are to understand that they are going down the broad way. Why would anyone ever go in this gate? Surely you would not choose to go in this gate.

Let’s use our imagination again, and ask ourselves:

“What does the sign over the wide gate and broad say?”

      What do you think?

Most people, when asked this question say that the sign over the wide gate would say “To Hell.” It is true, that Hell is where those who go in that gate will end, but is that what the sign would say?

No! That sign over the broad gate says “To Heaven!”

It is a lying sign. It is a sign that gives false directions. Think about it a moment. People going through the wide gate and broad way actually believe that they are going to end up in heaven. Prove it to yourself.. Read what Jesus says in the next verse.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

      “BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS….”

False Prophets! These people who are going in the wide gate and broad way believe they are going to heaven! They are following men who claim to be men of God. They are following men who say that they will tell them the way to go to heaven! Never-the-less, they are following false prophets! Do you know what the really sad part of this is? Many are sincere in their beliefs. They do not want to follow a false prophet. In fact, even some of the false prophets may be sincere.

Notice, however, in Matthew 7:22, what they will say to Jesus on the day of judgment.

Matthew 7: 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

      Look what their claims mean!

      1. They called Jesus their Lord!

      2. They prophesied (taught the word of God) in Jesus authority.

      3. They claimed to have cast out demons in Jesus’ authority.

      4. They did many wonderful works by Jesus’ authority!

Those are pretty good credentials, and today, if we meet someone who makes these claims, we would probably be impressed! Most people would consider them to be saved.

After all, look at what they are doing! They call Jesus their Lord, they preach and teach, they cast out demons, and they do many other works that man considers to be great works.

But look at Jesus’ evaluation of them. Jesus says to the false prophets and those who are following them:

Matthew 7:23 “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

These religious people with such great credentials are to depart from the presence of Jesus and God. They are to go to Hell. Why is that? Why would Jesus tell people who call Him their Lord, who preach, who claim to cast out demons, and who do great works for humanity, that He never knew them?

In spite of their claims, they are not Christians and are not going to be in heaven. Look back to verse 21. It tells you why!

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

What is Jesus point? Simple. In spite of popular belief, saying you are a Christian, even believing, is not all that God requires of us. Jesus says we must do the will
      of God.

We must not just believe in God, but we must also believe God! We must believe God enough to do His will.

That is the problem with the teaching of many who are false prophets and teachers today. They are telling people that all one must do is believe in Jesus in order to be saved. They say we are saved by “faith only.” This is a false teaching. God has never said it, but men teach it. In fact, we have seen that Jesus has said just the opposite.

Jesus clearly and carefully warns man about going in the wide gate. He proclaims the wide gate delivers men to Hell. The other gate is the one that takes men to
      Heaven.

Which gate are you entering? The decision, the choice is yours. Are you going to believe men, or Jesus? Don’t be misled by false teachers who are leading people into the wide gate and down the easy road. Remember Jesus words:

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

      Catholicism Verses The Bible

      By David J. Stewart

“Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” -Jesus, Mark 7:9

One of the great wonders of the world to me is how anyone could claim to be a Catholic and still believe the Bible is God’s Word. Even the Catholic Douay version of the Bible condemns the Catholic faith repeatedly. The honest truth is that Catholics have been brainwashed to accept the traditional teachings of the Vatican as superior to whatever the Word of God actually says.

Jesus plainly condemned placing the traditions of religion over the Word of God (Mark 7:6-13). Psalm 118:8 admonishes, “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” I’ll give you several examples of how the Catholic religion contradicts the Bible, placing man’s tradition over God’s Word.

      Bowing to Mary is Idolatry!

There is absolutely NOTHING in the Bible leading Christians to recognize Mary, adore Mary, or talk to Mary. Although most Catholics deny worshipping Mary, a picture is worth 1,000 words.

The picture of Pope John Paul II adoring Our Lady of Fatima to the right, and the photo of Catholics bowing to Mary at the left, are clear irrefutable evidences of idolatry. Look up the word “worship” in any dictionary and you’ll find that Catholics do indeed WORSHIP Mary and other hordes of dead saints. Those who want to fellowship with the Roman Catholic Church and accept it as a true “church” are ignoring its blasphemous teachings concerning Mary. The Catholic religion is straight out of the pits of Hell!

“Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols” -Psalm 97:7

The Vatican II Council and the New Catholic Catechism reaffirmed that Mary is the sinless Mother of God, that she ascended bodily to Glory (i.e., the Assumption of Mary) and was crowned as the Queen of Heaven, that she can hear and answer prayer. Of course, no such teachings are found ANYWHERE in the Bible. Mary is NOT the queen of heaven, she did NOT ascend bodily, and Mary certainly is NOT sinless! The mother of Jesus was a sinner!

Where in the world did anyone ever get the twisted idea that Mary was sinless? No such teaching is taught in the Word of God. The Bible is clear in Romans 3:23 … “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” That includes Mary! The ONLY sinless being who ever walked this earth was the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15).

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God…” -Exodus 20:4,5

The Rosary is Unbiblical and Sinful

Again, there is NOTHING taught in the Bible about praying a Rosary, counting beads, etc. In fact, Jesus condemned vain repetitions, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking” (Matthew 6:7). So why do Catholics disobey God? The Catholic Rosary is largely a prayer to Mary. The Rosary is blasphemy! Though Catholics like to point out that they are not praying to Mary, the 2nd of the ten commandments clearly prohibits and warns us NOT to BOW DOWN to any graven image. God in the 2nd commandment even goes as far as to warn us against bowing down to the likeness of anything in HEAVEN OR EARTH.

Mary worship is a sin! Pope John Paul II is a great Mary lover. In his book Crossing the Threshold of Hope, the Pope testifies that his personal devotion to Mary was developed at Marian sites such as Jasna Gora (home of the Black Madonna) in his homeland of Poland (Crossing the Threshold of Hope, p. 220). The Pope has “Totus Tuus” (All Yours) embroidered on his papal garments, designating his “abandonment to Mary” (Crossing the Threshold of Hope, p. 215).

After the Pope was shot during an assassination attempt in May 1981, he attributed his subsequent recovery to Mary, and it was at shrines such as Jasna Gora and Fatima that he has expressed his thankfulness to the “Queen of Heaven.” He prays to Mary daily. This is an abomination unto the Lord.

“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” -Isaiah 42:8

False Prophets Forbid Eating Meat and Getting Married

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats…” (1st Timothy 4:1-3). It’s not difficult at all to EXPOSE the demonic Catholic faith if a person is simply willing to believe the Bible over Catholic tradition–but that’s the BIG PROBLEM … Jesus said in Matthew 15:9, “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” The Bible teaches that Peter had a wife (Matthew 8:14). Yet, Catholic priests are wrongfully denied the God-given privilege to marry. The results have been tragic.

It’s almost impossible to convince a Catholic that all of their priests, archbishops, cardinals, and even the Popes are heretics. I can tell you with great certain my friend–they are all LIARS! How can I be so bold as to say such a thing? It’s simply because I have in my hand the eternal, inspired, inerrant, infallible, preserved, Words of God. Most Catholics DON’T genuinely believe the Bible. Rather, they have sold their souls to a bunch of religious charlatans (priests) who commit blasphemy by claiming to have the power to forgive your sins.

Please read, Who Can Forgive Sin? by my friend, Pastor Max D. Younce. Even the self-righteous hypocritical Pharisees knew better than to be so arrogant as to claim the power to forgive someone’s sin … “And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying … Who can forgive sins, but God alone?” Woe unto the Catholic Church, for it is a prisonhouse of religion. Romans 10:3,4 proclaims, “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”

Call No Man “Father” or “Master” – Priests Cannot Forgive Sin!

Even the Catholic Bible states in Matthew 23:8-11, “But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Simply stated, the Bible condemns allowing ministers to come between us and God.

We read in 1st Timothy 2:5, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” Jesus condemned recognizing any man as the “vicar” of God, or as a having special privileges or powers from God. Catholics are taught to believe that the Pope is literally God’s messenger upon the earth. When El Papa speaks, Catholics worldwide hinge on every word, as if God Himself were speaking. The above picture speaks volumes against Catholicism. It should be obvious to the spiritually-minded believer that Satan is conditioning the masses to receive the Antichrist when he comes.

It is sinful to recognize any man, priest, or minister, as a spiritual AUTHORITY over you. This is what Jesus meant when He prohibited calling ministers or priests, “Father” or “Rabbi” or “Master.” We are not to give them that right. God’s Word is the FINAL AUTHORITY! Not the Jewish Kabbalah. Not the Qur’an. Not the Jewish Rabbi. Not the Pope. Not the priest. Not the minister. Not the Church. Most Catholics have totally submitted themselves to their local priest. This is why so much sexual-molesting of children has transpired over the decades within the Catholic Church–because people SUBMIT to ungodly authorities which the Bible says not to.

We should only submit to God, and His Word. Preachers and ministers ONLY have the power of INFLUENCE; but, the Word of God is to be our measuring stick by which we size them up. If they fail to present the Word of God faithfully, then we are to forsake them, as we should all false prophets! We must NEVER allow men to lead us away from God.

Worshipping Men and Their Manmade Doctrines

“But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.” -Matthew 23:5-7

It is so strange how the Word of God condemns the Catholic religion in plain Words; yet, Catholics BLINDLY follow the Pope and priests. It says in Matthew 23:9, in black and white, even in the Catholic Douay Bible, not to call any man “Father.” Yet, that is exactly what Catholics call their priests, cardinals, and Bishops.

The Bible plainly states in 1st Timothy 4:1-3 that false teachers would come to us, teaching doctrine of devils: forbidding to marry, and forbidding to eat meat. The celibacy requirement for all priests is a devilish doctrine. The Catholic forbiddance of meat, or certain meats, on certain days, are doctrines of devils. God plainly tells us to enjoy the meat He has given us to eat, as long as we are thankful for it (1st Timothy 4:4).

Mark 7:6-13 plainly teaches that we are never to follow the traditions of men. Yet, the Catholic religion is one big conglomerate of traditions fabricated over the centuries. It wasn’t until the year 1950 that Pope Pious XII decided to make the Assumption of Mary an official Catholic doctrine, a doctrine not found anywhere in the Bible.

Exodus 20:4,5 couldn’t be any clearer that even BOWING down to a statue is idolatry. Yet, Catholics foolishly claim that they are not worshipping the statues they are bowing down to. BUT, God forbids us from even bowing to statues. In fact, the Bible is so clear on this matter that the Vatican has even REMOVED the second of the Ten Commandments to deceive you. No wonder 1st Timothy 4:2 states, “Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” Everything that the Catholic Church has taught you is twisted, corrupted, and damnable!!!

And their conscience’s are calloused, harder than steel. In the old days, a wounded soldier would sterilize and seal his would by placing a red-hot sword over the affected area. Ouch! As you can imagine, placing a red-hot sword over any area of your body is going to kill all sensation to that area for a very long time. The Bible teaches that false prophets have their hearts seared, as with a hot iron. In other words, the same sun that melt the wax, hardens the clay. The Bible directs us to “Refuse profane and old wives’ fables…” Every Catholic needs to REFUSE to believe the lies of Catholicism any longer, and turn instead to the precious Word of God.

      CATHOLICISM: A Prisonhouse of Religion!

The Roman Catholic church is a cesspool of homosexual perverts and pedophiles. Pedophilia and homosexuality are inseparable (as many as 50% of all Catholic priests are Sodomites).

There is NOTHING in the Bible about praying to statues. There is NOTHING in the Bible about not eating meat on Fridays. There is NOTHING in the Bible about worshipping the dead. There is NOTHING in the Bible about digesting Jesus’ flesh and blood. The Catholic religion can’t make up it’s mind and keeps changing it’s dogma (doctrine). In fact, here’s a long list of Catholicism’s manmade heresies and when they were fabricated. Catholics just keep making it up as they go.

Catholicism is a lie of the devil, a prison-house of religion. If I didn’t sincerely care about people, then I wouldn’t take the time to WARN you. The Catholic religion is all a bunch of Satanic lies based upon traditions and ridiculous manipulations of the Word of God. I plead with you as a friend, obey the Bible by turning to the Lord Jesus Christ in faith and forsaking the Mother of Harlots. The Great Whore of the Catholic Church will take you to hell with them if you’re foolish enough to follow them. Don’t do it. Salvation is NOT found in a religion, but in a Person–the Lord Jesus Christ! You need Christianity friend, NOT churchianity.

How to go to Heaven from the Bible

      • If you want to have discussion pls stick to the topic, i.e. the Eucharist. Your authority is supposed to be the Bible alone, not book by Stewart or video recording in Internet.

      • Vivator: The Bible is what refutes Catholic doctrine. Blind people can’t see and deaf people can’t hear. You are both blind and deaf and the proof is your defending the Catholic Church. The Bible warns about false prophets and all the Catholic leaders are false prophets. The Eucharist (that word) is not in the Bible. The Catholic Church added it, and the Bible warns about adding words. Jesus would have never told his followers to literally eat His flesh and drink his blood, because the eating of blood is forbidden in the Bible, and that would have disqualified Him as being the Messiah. The Mass is also an invention of the Catholic Church, and it is not in the Bible no matter how much you think it is. When Jesus lifted up the Bread and the Wine, it was done in the context of a Passover Seder, and obviously the Catholic Church is Anti-Semitic, and wanted to have nothing to do with the Jewish People. Jesus wants a relationship with you and not Catholic rituals. I am praying for you to come to Salvation and be Born Again.

      • Where does the Bible say those who defend Catholic Church are blind and deaf? No Catholics leaders ever claimed to be prophets. The word Eucharist means thanks giving and it is in the Bible. The word Trinity is not in the Bible either. How do you enjoy your steak meal? Well done or still with blood in it – then you violate the Bible too. Jewish Passover has lamb as sacrificed which must be eaten as Christ is the Passover Lamb (1 Cor 5:7). For sure Catholics have relation with Christ – where does the Bible say to have relation with Christ you have to be non-Catholic?

      • Vivator: You forget that I was a Catholic for 35 years and was brainwashed by Catholic Doctrine , just as you are now. The Catholic Church does not teach about Salvation and does not teach about being Born Again. You don’t know what you don’t know. You think you have a relationship with Him, just as I used to think so. It is Jesus plus nothing, and the Catholic Church is Jesus plus Catholic Tradition. Jesus says your traditions have separated you from your God. You are one hard nut to crack, but nothing is impossible with God

      • I was once evangelical. You know nothing about what the Catholic Church really teaches because you rely on wrong sources. Visit my blog and read Catholic teaching on justification, salvation, grace, merits, confession, purgatory, communion of saints etc.

      • You went from light to darkness. In the 35 years that I was a Catholic I never heard once about Salvation,Justification, or being Born Again. The Pope, your leader, is an invention of Satan. Peter was Jewish and not Catholic. You house is built on shifting sand and you don’t even know it! I recently attended a funeral of my Catholic Uncle and the Mass was repulsive and blasphemy toward God. A Catholic Chaplin said they found the evidence of his faith in his tool box, and that evidence was his rosary. The evidence of faith is trust in Jesus, not a pagan rosary. It is through FAITH ALONE ,through SCRIPTURE ALONE, AND through SALVATION ALONE.

      • It seems you are not open for a dialogue but insisting on one way communication, i.e. you want me to listen to you and your false charges and poor arguments but you don’t want to listen to me. I would not disturb you again. Good Bye!

      • VIVATOR: When you get saved and end up in Heaven you will be grateful for our conversation.
