There is an abysmal amount of deception and false “facts” in the term Palestine.
The victim mentality is exalted above the facts of history.  The following came from a friend’s  who made excellent comments to the term Palestine:

The name was placed on the region by the Roman Emperor Hadrian, who following yet another Jewish revolt, the Bar Kochba revolt in 135 AD, determined to remove every trace of the Jewish state from the land of Israel.  The Latin name Palestinia derives from Philistine–the ancient enemies of God’s Chosen People.  And even the ancient Philistines were not native to Israel.  Most scholars believe they migrated from Greece or Crete.
So when you hear people talking about Palestine like it is or was an existing nation, they’re wrong!  They’re just repeating an ancient Roman insult…and ignoring reality!
