The following article will shine a light into the darkness of deception.  Truth always overcomes lies and exposes religion.  Jesus [Yeshua in Hebrew] is the only way and he said in John [Yochanan in Hebrew]  14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus in not religion.

The Light Shines in the Darkness…Islam IndexIslam claims to be the true religion revealed by God for the well-being and salvation of mankind. However, as one will plainly see, the characteristics of Islam point to the fact that it is a man-made religion.Arab “Imperialism”From politics to family affairs to clothing to religious rites to dietary laws, Islam is completely Arabic. As Robert Morey notes:“First, Muhammad took the political laws which governed seventh-century Arabian tribes and made them into the laws of Allah. In such tribes the sheik, or chief, had absolute authority over those under him. There was no concept of civil or personal rights in seventh-century Arabia. The head of the tribe decided whether you lived or died. This is why Islamic countries are always inevitably ruled by dictators or “strong men” who rule as despots.”-Robert Morey, The Islamic Invasion (Las Vegas, NV: Christian Scholars Press, 1992), p.25.Muhammad took the culture of his day, minus the gods, and turned it into a religion. Unlike Judaism and Christianity where the religion created the culture, in Islam, the culture created the religion. The Allah of the Koran: A Man-Made DeityA God Created from Human RationalismIn Islam, the Allah of the Koran is completely transcendent. He is almost always described in terms of what he is not rather than what he is. This doctrine, apophaticism, the same doctrine believed in by Eastern Orthodoxy, comes straight out of the Greek philosophy of Neo-Platonism. Such a doctrine sets up a human-madedichotomy that says that either God is knowable but finite, or He is infinite and eternal but unknowable. The very fact that the God of the Koran conforms to Humanistic Rationalism should be disturbing. For, a god bound by human “reason” is a god created by the minds of humans. Johannes Hauri accurately pointed out:“Mohammed’s monotheism was just as much a departure from true monotheism as the polytheistic ideas…Mohammed’s idea of God is out and out deistic.”-Johannes Hauri, as quoted in Samuel Zwemer, The Moslem Doctrines of God; An Essay on the Character and Attributes of Allah According to the Koran (New York: American Tract Society, 1905), p.21.Just like Plato and Aristotle’s transcendent/unknowable deities that came out of philosophy (i.e. their own minds), the Allah of the Koran is exactly what one would expect if a human created his attributes.FatalisticThe Allah of the Koran is so completely sovereign over all things that he even directly causes men to sin! This is unlike the God of the Bible who, although He has caused all things to take place from eternity past (Lamentations 3:37), the sin of man was caused by the will of man, and thus, all human sin is our own fault. However, the Allah of the Koran directly causes men to sin and punishes them for it (Sura 17:16). This doctrine likewise comes out of Humanistic Rationalism because it sets up a dichotomy between order and chaos. In other words, the dichotomy says that if a Being created all things and has perfect knowledge of all events (past, present, and future), then that Being must be the cause of all events (past, present, and future), but if that Being is not the cause of all events, then that Being can not know the future. Unlike the Bible which teaches the doctrine of mystery (i.e. two seemingly conflicting beliefs are true because the finite human mind cannot comprehend infinitude), the Allah of the Koran is directly in line with the Humanistic Rationalism of Greek philosophy which was popular at that time.No Concept of Absolute HolinessUnlike the God of the Bible, the Allah of the Koran shows no signs of absolute holiness. In other words, Allah just forgives people, jinn, and angels without satisfying justice. This is why Islam denies the need for a Divine substitute like in Christianity. In Christianity, God is so holy that every transgression of His Law demands absolute justice, and this is why Jesus Christ had to die on the cross, to pay the penalty for the sins of men. In Islam, on the other hand, Allah merely forgives people if they ask him without satisfying the demands of Holy justice. This kind of attribute is exactly what we would expect if sinful human beings created Allah. In fact, Allah seems just about as holy as a 7thcentury Arab of the Quraish tribe (hint: Muhammad).CapriciousThe Allah of the Koran is extremely capricious. Unlike the God of the Bible who is limited by His own holiness (i.e. He can’t lie or break His own Laws), the Allah of the Koran can do anything including lying. In fact, the Allah of the Koran is called the “greatest Deceiver”:“The greatest Deceiver [Arabic: Makara] of them all is Allah.”-Sura 3:54Even Muhammad said that he didn’t know if he would go to paradise or hell because Allah could do anything at anytime (Sahih Bukhari 5.266). In other words, Allah is about as capricious as a 7thcentury Arab of the Quraish tribe! Can’t Make Up His MindIn the Koran, verses are abrogated (i.e. nullified) and replaced with new ones (Sura 2:106). For instance, when Muhammad was in Mecca, he would preach that there should “be no compulsion in religion” (i.e. no one should be forced into a religion; Sura 2:256). However, when Muhammad went to Medina, he gained much power and started to exercise it violently. When some of his followers started falling away (i.e. apostasy), he conveniently received “revelation” from Allah (Sura 4:89) that apostates should be killed (i.e. silenced). To this day, in countries where Sharia (i.e. Islamic law) is practiced, those who leave Islam incur the death-penalty.The doctrine of abrogation in the Koran presents a great problem to Islamic theology. For, if the Koran was written by Allah from eternity past and is perfect, then why should God change what is written in it? Since God is perfect, shouldn’t He have known that the replacement verse was better than the abrogated one? Why didn’t He just reveal the replacement verse from the beginning instead of going back and changing verses? It seems that Allah has just as hard a time in making up his mind as a 7thcentury Arab of the Quraish tribe! No Original SinUnlike the Bible which teaches that mankind inherited the original sin of Adam (Romans 5:14-19), the concept of Original Sin is not found in the Koran. No sin is inherited from one’s parents. Of course, it is common for the natural (i.e. sinful) man to consider Original Sin “unfair”. It is the common doctrine of all the false religions of the world to deny Original Sin, and that denial is most easily refuted by the mere use of common sense:“So, if we take a certain young boy in France who was raised by wolves, so to speak, he’ll be naturally good and selfless, uncorrupted by the evil tendencies of civilization. The boy I speak of is a real person, found in the woods of Navarron in the 19th century. He wasn’t exactly bowing towards Mecca when he was found. He was ultimately selfish and suspicious of everyone. Noble savage indeed!”-Richard F. MasonerIf Islam was created by the mind of man, then the denial of the doctrine of Original Sin is exactly what one would expect because it conforms to a sinful man’s pride.Works Based SalvationUnlike the clear Biblical teachingthat no amount of any good works could ever forgive one’s own sins (Galatians 3:21-22), the Koran teaches that men can forgive their sins by doing good works (Sura 4:149, 5:9, 29:7). This is the common belief of all false religions made by mankind. From Hinduism to Buddhism to Confucianism to Mormonism to Roman Catholicism to Islam, all the religions created by the mind of man lie to themselves in teaching that one’s own good works (which are nothing but “filthy rags” to God; Isaiah 64:6) can forgive infinitely repugnant sin in the eyes of an all Holy God. If Islam was the creation of a man’s mind, then we would expect that its doctrine of salvation would be exactly like the doctrines of all the other man-made religions on earth, and this is precisely what we find.Carnal HeavenIn the Bible, heaven is described as a place of holiness, where believers are perfected and cleansed from the taint of sin. It is a place where there is no lust or sex, and the wine is not consumed to the point of intoxication (if there is actually wine at all). However, in the Koran, paradise is described as a place of multiple beautiful women chained to beds where men can have sex with them for eternity and rivers of wine which can be drunk without end (Sura 2:2, 76:19-20, 47:15). This is a heaven which fulfills the lustful desires of sinful men:“If drunkenness and gross immorality is sinful on earth, how is it right in Paradise? Is this not yet more proof that Islam reflects the ideas and customs of seventh-century Arab culture? The Quran’s picture of paradise is exactly what a seventh-century pagan Arab would have thought wonderful. The carnal concept of a harem of beautiful women and all the wine you can drink is in direct conflict with the spirituality and holiness of the biblical concept of heaven (Revelation22:12-17).”-Robert Morey, The Islamic Invasion (Las Vegas, NV: Christian Scholars Press, 1992), p.156.The Koran’s concept of Paradise is exactly what we would expect if Islam was created by a man with an unregenerate heart and an unforgiven soul.Historical and Scientific ErrorsThe Koran has a number of historical errors such as the belief that Alexander the Great was a monotheist and that he built a giant iron gate that was able to hold back the armies of an entire people until the last days. It also has scientific errors such as the belief that the sun goes down in a muddy pond and the belief that mountains prevent the earth from shaking. This is discussed in detail in the article on the errors in the Koran.Astral ReligionMost all of the religious rituals, beliefs, and symbols of Islam come from the pre-Islamic paganism of Arabia. For instance, the Hajj, the Black Stone, and the star and crescent symbol were all characteristics of pre-Islamic pagan astral worship. Muhammad merely took the religion that he was used to, minus its many gods, and turned it into a monotheistic religion. This is proved in detail in the article on Islam as a revamped astral religion.Human SourcesEven though the Koran claims to be the eternal thoughts of Allah written down on stone tablets in heaven from eternity past, many of the stories in the Koran can be traced to pre-Islamic Arabian, Persian, Jewish, and Christian fables and legends. For instance, the story about Nimrod and Abraham in Sura 21:58-69 is the exact same story as the pre-Islamic Jewish narrative in the Midrash Rabbah, and the story about Dhu’l-Qarneyn in Surah 18:83-97 is without a doubt from the pre-Islamic Christian legend, The Romance of Alexander. These and a number of more examples of this are discussed in detail in the article on the sources of the Koran.Accept It! No Questions Asked! The Koran warns people not to ask questions about the validity of Muhammad’s prophetic claim or the truthfulness of Islam. It wants you to accept Islam, no questions asked! This is clearly shown in the Koran and the Hadiths:“Allah has hated you…[for] asking too many questions.”-Sahih Bukhari 2.555, also 3.591“The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry.”-Sahih Bukhari 1.92When it was clear that this kind of behavior of his was starting to make the people doubt that he was a prophet,“The Prophet told them repeatedly [in anger] to ask him anything they liked.”-Sahih Bukhari 1.30Since Muhammad claimed to be a prophet, one man asked Muhammad where his lost camel was. In response,“The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red.”-Sahih Bukhari 1.91Why did Muhammad not like questions? The clear answer is found in the Koran itself:“Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you may cause you trouble…Some people before you did ask such questions, and on account lost their faith (in Islam).”-Sura 5:101-102In his commentary on the Koran, Abdullah Mandudi explains this passage:“The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions…so do not try to probe into such things.”-Abdullah Mandudi, The Meaning of the Qur’an, (Lahore, Pakistan: Islamic Publishers Ltd., 1967), Vol. III, pp.76-77.Robert Morey comments:“The questions were not the problem. When the answers were “made plain” it caused people to lose their faith in Islam. Whenever people tell you not to ask questions because if you find the answers you will lose your faith in them, they are trying to hide something…We must ask ourselves, “What kind of god is Allah who hates people for asking questions?” This is not like the God of the Bible who encourages us to ask, to seek and to knock! Why is Muhammad pictured as hating those who asked him questions? Why were people warned not to ask questions? What is Islam trying to hide? Is Islam so weak that merely asking questions threatens to destroy it? Do Muslims assume that blind faith is the way to Islam?”-Robert Morey, Winning the War Against Radical Islam (Las Vegas, NV: Christian Scholars Press, 2002), p.2.This demand for the acceptance of blind faith is the same thing that every cult-leader uses on his followers to keep them in line! This is exactly the kind of thing we would expect if Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, was a fraud and the religion of Islam a hoax to get people to follow a man who was power-hungry.————————————————————————————————————Unless stated otherwise, all Koran quotes are from Arberry’s translation.Suggested reading:- Robert Morey, The Islamic Invasion (Las Vegas, NV: Christian Scholars Press, 1992).- Norman Geisler and Abdul Saleeb, Answering Islam (Grand Rapids, Michigan: Baker Books, 1993).- Dr. Anis A.
